I’m a faith filled Taurus Sun, Cancer Moon with a Capricorn Rising, a lover of live music, handwritten notes, and long talks over chai tea lattes.
I find joy in story-driven creativity. Whether I’m behind the chair, curating the Virtual Beauty Box, or setting the scene with my mobile photo studio, Memories on the Move.
Outside of the salon, I’m a mama, memory-maker, and hype woman to the sweet souls I get to love through this life.
I believe that confidence is contagious.... and that when we reclaim it, we ripple.

I’m Nicole a tri-licensed artist, confidence coach, and the heart behind this corner I have carved in the Quad Cities. After 20+ years in the beauty industry (and a few major life plot twists) I realized the kind of salon I longed for didn’t exist, yet… so I built it.
What started as Salon Refuge in 2014 has now evolved into Haven Beauty Collective. A place shaped by story, and lived experience not trends.
When my salon closed during the Pandemic I was a new mom, navigating postpartum, grief, and identity loss. That season broke me wide open, and gave birth to my life’s real work:
Creating spaces where every soul I service feels seen, supported, and sovereign. And as my Mother taught me, left better than how they were found.
What I Stand For | This is a space where:
